How to get help?

When you contact me I will offer you an initial assessment session. The purpose of  the assessment session is for us to talk about your request for counselling and to think about the best way to help you.  During this initial session we will talk about why you are  seeking help now and think about whether the model of therapy I can offer seems right for you.

It is very important that you also feel I am the right person to help you and then we can go ahead and make plans for future sessions.

Once we agree to work together I will offer you regular weekly sessions, which usually take place at the same time and day each week.

The fee for sessions is:

Assessment session(50 minutes) £50

Follow-up assessment session(30 minutes) £25

On-going sessions(50 minutes) £50

(The fee is negotiable for those on some benefits or low household  income.)

All discussions with me are confidential and I am bound by the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Together we can achieve a positive outcome for the issues that you seek help with!
